My favourite Inglot Products!

Inglot Inglot Inglot!

I cannot recommend this brand enough, their products are literally AMAZING. I follow most of the Inglot girls on Snapchat and Instagram and I am always purchasing their product recommendations and not once has any of them let me down. First of all, the shades of foundation/concealer etc I use are going to be different than other people, so if you want to know your shade, pop into the girls in Inglot! They are so approachable, lovely and will have no bother helping you pick out a shade of any product(s) you’re looking for.

HD foundation

Soo.. Let’s start with my Holy Grail foundation, oh my lord! I have tried numerous foundations and I find they just don’t last long and don’t have full coverage. This foundation however stays on and gives a medium to full coverage. You can build it up to the coverage that you want. The foundation really hides imperfections and also discolourations on the skin and gives such a flawless finish. The HD pigments are used for filming/pictures to give that high definition to the skin. I use this every night as my going out foundation and I get asked quite a lot about it. This foundation is perfect for people with sensitive skin and it is enriched with truffle extract which moisturises the skin. When applying the foundation you need to work quite quickly with it as it tends to dry up and it sets fast. This foundation is quite matte but adding some of the seventeen tan liquid glow, which I reviewed on my previous blog, gives the skin a nice dewy finish and also having MAC strobe cream as my primer. Just in case anyone is wondering the shade I use is 77. I do know loads of people that have mixed opinions on this foundation, some people hate it, and some people love it. But in my opinion I really like it and I can’t see myself changing foundation anytime soon! I apply this foundation using my Nima foundation brush and a real techniques beauty blender to give that flawless finish.

Under Eye Concealer

These Inglot concealers are sooo underrated! After I apply my Inglot HD foundation I apply this concealer and it dry’s a lovely satin finish, it stays on all day and doesn’t cake up! I apply it with my Nima concealer brush and then pat it into my skin using a real techniques beauty blender. The coverage is medium-high and really helps to hide blemishes and circles underneath the eyes. There is a wide range of shades and the shade I use is number 91. It’s the best concealer I have used to date, and I will keep on repurchasing it. I apply the concealer under my eyes, the bridge of my nose, my cupids bow, my chin, and in the middle of my forehead.

77 Gel Eyeliner

This is literally the only eyeliner I ever use, nothing will compare to this little pot! To get some fleeky waanggzz all you need is this 77 gel liner and an angled liner brush = heaven. The formula is really creamy and easy to work with and if it ever does dry out from not putting the cap back on it, add a little duraline and wallahhh you’re back in business. Once you’ve put this eyeliner on it won’t budge! Now obviously there is pros and cons to eyeliner that stays on all day. The pro, obviously you want your makeup to stay on as long as possible and 77 gel liner doesn’t move once it’s on, and con it’s hard to get off, but not if you are using the right products, using an oil based product will get that liner off in no time. If you find it hard to do winged eyeliner, the best tip is to get some tape at the side of your eye to help guide you, and you will be a pro in no time, it’s all about practice. Another thing I love about this eye liner is that you can put it on your water line and it actually stays there and doesn't smudge off! I have tried numerous eyeliners and they seemed to just go away under an hour but with this one it will last my night out which is what everyone wants. Definitely a must have for your makeup bag.

Eyelashes

I bought 79S eyelashes from Inglot back in November for the night of my birthday. These eyelashes were recommended by Becky Timlin and Laurisa Kennedy who are makeup artists in Inglot, and they wear them all the time. I love them so much, they did say that they are very big eyelashes but I for the occasion I said I would buy them. When I was in store Orla Crossan another makeup artist from Inglot gave me tips on how to put them on and she also set to curl them before I put them on my eyes as they are so big. I put them on and nearly DIED, I was sooo in love, the quality of them are amazing. I’ve used mine over again so many times and they are still in such good condition...even after nights out! If you are looking for some dramatic lashes, these are definitely the ones to go for, honestly you won’t be disappointed.

Sculpting Powders

I have the 503 and 507 sculpting powders by Inglot and since I’ve bought them I’ve used them every time I’ve went on a night out. I use the 503 sculpting powder to set my Inglot under eye concealer and the sculpting powder 507 to contour my cheek bones. There is many different shades of the sculpting powders, and like I said not everyone has the same skin tone as me, so make sure you know your shade by popping into one of the Inglot stores and they will sort you out. This product is definitely a must have and it’s what I use nearly every night out to set my concealer and contour my cheek bones.

Pigments

I literally cannot even put into words how obsessed I am with pigments, I mean they are amazing and literally just make your eyes sparkle. I can’t get over how high quality they are. I’ve tested other pigments and I just can’t get any good quality high pigmented ones as good as Inglot’s. I won’t buy from anywhere else because I want them to be proper pigmented, they are well worth the money. I love every single Inglot pigment but my favorite shades would be 111 which is a baby pink, 112 which is a lilac color, 119 which is a soft gold colour, 85 which is a mixed colour pigment with blue under tones, 86 which is another mixed colored pigment with rose gold/burgundy undertones. The mixed pigments I have mentioned are fabulous but hard to describe as they are a mix of colours. If you are in an Inglot store definitely check the 85 and 86 out as they are amazing.

Sparkle Dust

For anyone that knows me, highlight is one of my favourite parts of doing my makeup, I have a few favourite highlighters and Inglot’s sparkle dust is definitely in my top 4! There is a few shades to choose from and the one I have is shade 2. It is SUPER sparkly and just so gorgeous on the skin and so pigmented. I apply my highlight with my Nima fan brush, if you want to be cheap and cheerful, Penney’s/Primark has a really nice one for only a few euro, and it does the job! The packaging of this product is so slick and even comes with a little sponge to apply the highlight. Use this and your highlight will be popping!

Eyeshadow
I actually don’t even own any of Inglot’s eyeshadows funny enough, I really need to start building up my own flexi pallet. But I can HIGHLY recommend them as I do use my best friends flexi pallets of all there Inglot eyeshadows when I can (sorry Caitlin and Nicole ;)). I don’t know how I don’t even own any, like they are the most pigmented eye shadows I’ve used along with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Pallet, as that’s the pallet I actually use most of the time. I know so many shades of the eyeshadows I love though, so I am going to share them with you all!
Pinks & Purples: 74, 48, 46, 55, 450, 308, 14, 440, 439, 63 (it’s a blush but is amazing on the eyes!)
Browns & Golds:  09, 54, 21, 423.
Black & Grey: 63, 387, 451.
€6 per eyeshadow

I could go on and on about more products like the eyebrow gel, brushes and duraline but I tried to pick out the products I use the most. I am going to leave the Instagram and Snapchat names of my favourite Inglot MUA’s down below. I hope you enjoyed this blog post, if anyone has any suggestions of what they would like to see me blog about do let me know. I have tonnes of ideas, but I would love feedback from my followers of the content you would love to see from me. Much love, Caoimhe xx
