Wedding Guest Style Inspo!

Hello everyone, I feel like it's been ages since I have posted a new blog! For this one I am going to give you guys a little wedding guest style inspiration, these dresses are not just for weddings but if you have communions, christenings etc coming up these would be perfect for the day too! Here I have pulled 8 outfits for you that I love and that I think would be perfect for a special occasion. I searched through many websites like Asos, River Island, Pretty Little Thing etc, but I kept going back to Missguided as I thought they had such lovely pieces in. All of these outfits can be bought on missguided and I have the link's added just below the outfit, hope you like the outfits I have chosen. Happy shopping!

I have been loving the embroidery trend at the minute, I think the colours in this dress are so goregous, this is definitely a head turner outfit! It's not expensive either but looks it so you cannot go wrong! Definitely my favourite piece that I picked. You could wear either nude, black or rose gold heels with this dress, any 3 would go with it.

Obsessed with this beaut nude dress, the lace detailing and fishtail detail on bottom is just so classy. Would look gorgeous with a fab tan, I recommend bBold tan it's my favourite and lasts for days!

Love this grey jumpsuit the lace detailing is so pretty topped off with a pair of nude strappy heels and clutch you're ready to go as not too much jewellery would be needed, maybe a dainty little bracelet!

I love this pastel pink dress, the lace overlay is so different. Such a flattering piece on, and the back of it is so gorgeous, just click the link to see more images on Missguided's website.

I actually got the inspo for this dress off Nancy Kavanagh, if you don't know her, well you should! She is the owner of Belle Hair Extensions Galway, and is absolutely unreal at her job and is such an inspiration for young girls. If you want to see this dress on her just have a look at her Instagram and be sure to give her a follow. She actually wore this piece this weekend for a night out, but I do definitely think it would be suited for a wedding, once again I love the bardot trend.

I have loved this dress on Missguided for so long and you can get it in a few different colours. It is so Balmain inspired.. without the massive price tag! Such a gorgeous piece for any occasion really. Very Kylie Jenner/Kim Kardashian!

A black dress is something every girl should really keep in her wardrobe. Lately I have been loving off the shoulder pieces of clothing I think they are stunning and if you drench yourself in some coco brown goddess oil or some highlight and put it onto your collar bones it looks fabulous! This dress would look gorgeous with some rose gold heels and clutch.

You can never go wrong with a red dress, love the frills in this dress which is definitely a big trend at the minute. Topped off with a pair of nude heels will be perfect for whatever the occasion is.

                                                                                   nude silky halterneck jumpsuit!

Personally I am not too much of a dress girl, I love looking at them.. but I don't really wear them! I LOVE jumpsuits though. I think this one is so pretty I love the luxe silky finish. You wouldn't even need jewellery with this piece as it is such a statement look.

Literally obsessed with this dress, it's so classy and would be so figure-flattering on! This would be even so gorgeous for a date night/anniversary.

Thanks for having a read everyone, hope you all have a lovely bank holiday Sunday x

Stylish Travel Luggage!

Hello everyone! I am definitely one that loves everything got to do with travelling. From planning all the fun things I am going to do/see to planning my outfits but even my luggage has to be on point! I got this River Island suitcase (picture above) in a sale they were having in October and I absolutely ADORE it, My best friend Nicole actually got it in the luggage bag style too, they were half the price so we couldn't leave without snatching them up.. even if we had to drag them around the whole city of Dublin, it was so worth it! So if you are going away for a weekend, to a festival, or on your holidays for the summer, here is some super stylish bags for your travels.

I follow love her style on Instagram and when this bag popped up that they were selling I nearly DIED. I have wanted a Louis Vuitton bag since I was literally in primary school, and I have always said I would never buy a fake one as I will be so super excited when I get my first real one..it's my 21st this year so I am definitely going to put it on my wishlist! This luggage bag is so super cheap and so stylish, looks quite big that you can fit everything into it and it even is the correct size for cabin luggage. They also have it in a black and grey check colour as well! A great steal if you ask me.

Ok ye are all probably wondering why I even added this to the blog.. the money is CRAZY. I think it is so super pretty though, Ted Baker is such an amazing designer everything is always so classy. I love the oriental bloom, the pastel colours and the rose gold detail, maybe some day!

This floral luggage bag and suitcase from River Island is to DIE for. So summery and perfect for your travels! Both bags are cabin size so you can bring them on the plane without having to pay the extra dreaded luggage fee! I fit so much stuff in my suitcase when I was in Amsterdam for 4 day's, and I am such a heavy packer.

Both of these travel luggage is from River Island again. You cannot go wrong with black and white, ever! Monochrome is the best. I love the snake skin detail on it, it makes the bag looks super expensive! I know they might seem a bit pricey, but once you invest in a good luggage piece you will have it for years.

Happy shopping xxx

5 City Breaks For 2017 That Won't Break The Bank!

Hello everyone, I am back with something different and that makes me so happy, travelling! I was lucky enough to have a great mom who brought me to loads of lovely places since I have been very small. I absolutely adore visiting new places, the thrill of getting to the airport, hopping on a plane and just going to explore somewhere different is just so exciting! In 2016 I went to Liverpool and Amsterdam with my two best friends Caitlin and Nicole. I had such an amazing time and I am so lucky to of met two fabulous girls in college who love to travel just as much as me. We have exciting travel plans for this year which I will be sharing once everything is finalised!

So thinking of a little get away with your friends? girlfriend? boyfriend? Well I have got you covered with some places I think would be lovely to go visit in 2017. When I go on my holidays this year I definitely will be vlogging, which I am super excited about as I loved my vlog from Amsterdam. I can always look back at that video now when I am older and remember how much fun I had.

To get fairly cheap flights my advice would be to book about 3 months in advance if not more as it is generally cheaper. For saving money on accommodation (I am a sucker for fancy hotels and I am not one for a hostel) but sometimes if you are short on cash you have to make do, and you know what maybe hostels could actually be fun, I will find out next year anyway when I am travelling Europe in the summer. So to save money on accommodation Airbnb is a fantastic website where it enables people to list or rent short-term lodging including vacation rentals, apartment rentals, home-stays, hostel beds, or hotel rooms! Airbnb has locations in 191 countries, so I am sure you will find a good deal for your trip.

How does Airbnb work??
You have to register and create an account which is free, you can search for the type of lodging you want, the location, the price and the dares. It is super simple! When I go travelling Europe next summer I will definitely be using Airbnb every night I need somewhere to stay. So many people have recommend it as it was so handy to use.

Berlin - Germany
I have actually been to Cologne in Germany but when I was much smaller, I went in December and I remember the Christmas markets were amazing over there. I would love to go back now though since I am older and explore the city of Berlin. A few people I know actually went over this year and they said that the night life is amazing over there, which is always a bonus! There is many tour boats you can go on to explore the city and it would be fabulous to go on one at night and see the city lit up. If you are going to Berlin you cannot go and not see the main touristic things the city has to offer, such as the Berlin Wall and the Eastside Gallery. There seems to be a great social, backpacker culture in Berlin and I have done some research and there looks like there is actually some really nice hostels and two of them are St.Christophers and The Circus. There is a lot of free touristic things to do in Germany if you do your research and you can definitely have a fab time and not have to spend loads of money!

Amsterdam - Netherlands
Oh my god.. where do I even start? I visited Amsterdam in October 2016 with Caitlin and Nicole, and it was just AMAZING. Honestly it was probably one of the best if not the best holidays I have ever been on. I could write for hours about our experience. When we were there, there was a festival called AMF on, Martin Garrix, Hardwell, The Chainsmokers, Nervo, Afrojack and the DJ's like that were playing at it. If I was recommending a time when to book Amsterdam I would probably advise the end of October when the festival is on because it honestly just made our trip! We explored so much and really took advantage of what the city had to offer. We went to the Amsterdam ice bar which was so much fun, you get 3 drinks in there and a big jacket because it was absolutely BALTIC in there! If you are going to Amsterdam you will probably want to see the Red Light District and go to a coffee shop.. it's a part of the culture so obviously the girls and I went for a look about, and it was definitely a strange experience but if you are only going to Amsterdam once you are may as well get the whole experience! We also went on a canal trip at night which was lovely to see as the city was all lit up and it looked so so pretty. Caitlin loves art so we went to the Van Gogh museum which was amazing to see and the grounds of the museum were just fabulous so I took full advantage and took so many nice videos for my vlog and of course we got some photos. Flights to Amsterdam are so cheap, it is getting accommodation cheap that is the tricky part you really need to search around. As for touristic things to do in Amsterdam, there is just so many and I only mentioned a few. There is many packages where you can get deals to see the Anne Frank house, a canal tour and the Amsterdam Ice Bar etc for a cheaper price if you book altogether. Honestly it is definitely a must see City!

Budapest - Hungary
Budapest is definitely on my bucket list for next year. I have wanted to visit for so long after researching the city and seeing what is has to offer. The Sziget festival is on in Budapest every year in August and this is definitely a must go to while visiting so I would recommend going around then. The Sziget festival is one of the largest festivals in Europe. The lineups go from EDM, house and techno, rock, pop to indie! Around the site there is beaches and an amusement park. There is loads of YouTube videos online of the festival and it looks unreal! The thermal baths in Budapest is something I definitely want to do when I go over. It is said that the mineral-rich waters are medicinal and thousands of tourists going to Budapest has the baths on their to do lists, it is a really popular attraction. Flights, accommodation and food is cheap over in Budapest so it's a great city to visit on a budget!

Prague - Czech Republic
Prague is definitely on my bucket list for next year when I go interailing, a few of my friends have been and they said it is just amazing. The Old Town Square looks so gorgeous and by looking at pinterest pictures, the city at night looks top class and you can walk along the river front while the city illuminates. In Berlin they have a Berlin wall.. and in Prague they have a John Lennon's wall! you can actually go and draw your own graffiti on it which is pretty cool! To find the best city view it is said to go to the Prague castle and you will get a pretty amazing view of the whole city! From watching YouTube videos the atmosphere in Prague looks unbelievable and the streets are filled with musicians and markets. I cannot wait to take a visit!

Edinburgh - United Kingdom
One of my favourite places ever!! I literally want to move here for a while when I am older, it is such an amazing city and I was in awe when I went to visit. Flights are super cheap over to Edinburgh, the city is not too big and there is so many things to do over there. I loved Edinburgh castle and you can see the whole city from the castle itself. I wouldn't be one to be into all historic things but I am telling you, you cannot go over there and not visit it. I went on a haunted underground tour of Edinburgh's old town, it was actually super scary but our tour guide was unreal and gave us so many interesting facts about the Old Town. The Old Town has so many quirky little interesting shops and there is such beautiful architecture, it's super pretty! I definitely would recommend Edinburgh for a weekend break away, there is some unreal deals for flights and hotels out there and all you need is some spending money then!

I can't even describe how much I love travelling and exploring, I just keep thinking I am young, I don't have major responsibilities (besides college) so I need to catch up all opportunities to travel while I can. I have a few places planned for this year, and next summer I plan on going interailing for 3 weeks which I am super excited about. As much as I love buying nice things like make up and clothes.. I definitely try to save as much as I can so I can book flights with my friends and just jet off for a while! I hope you enjoyed this post xx Caoimhe

Spotlight Whitening

Hello lovelies, hope you are all having a chilled out Sunday!

So first of all a little background story about Spotlight Whitening. The strips were designed by two Irish sisters Lisa and Vanessa who are Dentists in Quay Dental, Co. Galway. It is an effective in house bleaching system and is perfectly safe to use.

When I got featured on the Spotlight Whitenings Instagram! :D

Many of you have probably seen me either putting up Snapchats or Instagram stories about these teeth whitening strips. Straight away I had people asking me about them but I couldn't give anyone feedback as I hadn't used the whole box and I wanted to wait until I had them all used to give my honest opinion.

The Make Up Fairy!

I have tried many different toothpastes in the past to try and get my teeth white. From a young age I have to say I didn't look after my teeth and I am TERRIFIED of the dentist even though I need to get braces, and would love to get my teeth professionally whitened, the thoughts of having to sit in that chair kills me. But no need to leave your house as you can get your teeth crystal white with these whitening strips. Many of you will know the blogger Terrie McEvoy, a nurse from Ireland who has now moved to Australia and well if you don't know her you should she is amazing! Terrie is the brand ambassador for Spotlight Whitening, and I knew straight away that if she believed in a product this much it must be good. So I bought a box of Spotlight Whitening strips and I was super excited to try them and hope'd I would see good results over the next two weeks, and I am not going to lie, I didn't use the strips religiously I say it took me 3 weeks to actually complete the box as I would skip day's.

The fab Terrie McEvoy!

I was kind of nervous about using the strips as I have very very sensitive teeth, I have looked at reviews of different whitening strip brands and people had said they hurt them which I did not want. But after looking at many positive reviews of no sensitivity with Spotlight Whitening I was eager to have a go. I was super happy that I felt no sensitivity because the last thing I wanted after paying money was to have sore teeth!

The amazing thing about Spotlight Whitening is that they are the only Irish whitening strips that contain hydrogen peroxide and this is the most active agent to whiten your teeth. Hydrogen peroxide works by breaking down complex stains and penetrating the top layer of enamel on your teeth to brighten the colour of them.

Chloe Boucher a fan of the whitening strips!

How do you use them?
To use Spotlight Whitening Strips:
1 - Tear open the packet.
2 - Dry your teeth.
3 - Place a strip on your bottom teeth, and your top teeth.
4 - Leave them on for 1 hour.
5 - Rinse off any residue gel.
6 - Repeat everyday for 2 weeks.

They are so easy to use, if I am going on a night out I will put them on while I am doing my makeup or before college while I am up getting ready I put them on. You can do it in the comfort of your own home which I love. I stopped using them for a while and I have noticed that they have not been as white so I am onto my second box now to keep them looking good!

this photo has no filter on it whatsoever and this my teeth after using Spotlight Whitening, so white!

You can buy these Spotlight Whitening strips online on www.spotlightwhitening.ie for 39.95 and they are in many pharmacy's around Ireland. I got mine in my local chemist Goldens Pharmacy in Westport, Co.Mayo.

I just want to say a big thanks to everyone that has messaged me or spoke to me in person about my blog and saying that they have bought some of the products that I have recommended and they really liked them. It makes me so happy that ye actually enjoy reading my content as I literally love doing it. I get about 1k views on each blog post which is insane to me already, but I would love if you do enjoy my blog to tell your friends to go follow my Instagram as that's where I post them. I would be forever grateful!

I hope I answered everyone's questions. Until next time, Caoimhe xx

PLATINUM HAIR EXTENSIONS

Hello lovelies, I hope you are all having a nice chilled out Sunday!

So nearly two months ago I got a half head of Platinum Hair Extensions which I was so excited to get. Since I have been around 13 I have always wanted long hair, my hair has always been quite short, thin and it never really grew. I went and got clip in extensions back then and when I look back at pictures with me with them I cringe so much but I am not the only girl that fell into the long ratty clip in hair extension trap.

Summer 2016 is when I decided that I wanted to get fitted hair extensions so I began to research different places in Ireland where I could get them done, I wanted to make sure I was going to be in good hands because I have heard horror stories of peoples natural hair having to be cut really short because of fitted hair extensions getting all knotted into their own hair, and I only had thin hair so not a notion did I want that to happen me! So I came across Platinum Hair Extensions and after reading so many reviews, I said I would make the trip to Dublin to get them done. The evening I decided to book an appointment they put up a Facebook post saying that they had an announcement and that they were opening up a store in Galway, and that's where I go to college so I was super happy I didn't have to trek to Dublin to get them fitted. I made an appointment for December 20th and not going to lie I was very nervous, even though I wanted long hair, I was still super scared of the change and paying that much money and maybe not even liking them. The first few days I was not used to them but now I literally could not live without them, I am already saving up for my next set because I don't want to have short hair again. Don't get me wrong, short hair is super pretty.. but the fact that my hair didn't grow, I never got to experience the whole long hair thing and being able to put in some nice curls!! Many bloggers such as faces by grace, DramaticMac, Emily Rochford and Terrie McEvoy have got their extensions done by Platinum.

So many people didn't even know I had hair extensions because they look so natural, especially how I only got a half head which was €260,  I didn't want to go from having thin short hair to big massive locks, I just wanted to add a bit more length and thickness. You can get a half head, 3/4, or a full head of extensions fitted. After I put up an Instagram post of my hair extensions I got many message via Facebook and Snapchat asking about them so I said I would definitely just do a blog post so hopefully I will have answered peoples questions here.

Sooo... why Platinum??

So Platinum use luxury Italian hair which comes in many different shades and they are all 22 inches long, and you can cut them then to whatever length you would like. As I have mentioned above I was nervous about damaging my own hair but what I like about these bonds is that they are enriched in keratin so it prevents damage to the natural hair. The application took less than 2 hours to do and when they were fitted they were then cut and styled to my own liking. Having them in for nearly 2 months now and I can tell you I literally do not notice having the bonds in my hair anymore. I have not lost any bonds yet, and it is normal to lose up to 10 bonds! The extensions are supposed to last between 3-5 months with proper care. So I bought some of the Platinum products to make sure my hair stays in good condition.

First up I bought the Platinum shampoo because you are not supposed to use products that contain silicon, sulfate or alcohol so it was an essential buy so I can keep the hair extensions longevity. I want to make sure I look after them properly. As the hair extensions don't produce their own natural oils this shampoo nourishes my hair and gives it an amazing shine.

The conditioner I use for my hair is this Platinum rejuvenation mask and I am obsessed with this, it leaves my hair super soft, shiny and sleek. I leave it on for like 5/10 minutes and then wash it out, and before even blow drying my hair I can feel how it deeply conditioned my hair is. It's really good for damaged hair and after years of straightening my own this definitely was a must for me!

As there is little bonds near the root of your hair it's nearly impossible to use a normal hairbrush so I got this Platinum one and it just glides through my hair so I can put it up on a slick pony tail or if I am putting my hair up in a bun.

I hope everyone enjoyed this post and if anyone has any more questions just let me know and I will answer them! Have a brilliant week and thanks so much, Caoimhe xx
